Ore usage#
At the end you know which Ore rarity to farm for the item you are aiming for.
Ore is used to craft unique and set equipment at the Workbench. Each recipe requires:
| Ingredient | Quantity |
|---|---|
| Ingredients from the boss tied to the item | 100 |
| Ore | 500 |
| Base item for the same slot | 1 |
Examples: the Sargon set (
Sargon's Horns,
Sargon's Pauldrons,
Sargon's Torso), the Destructor chest pieces such as
Destructor Breastplate, the rings
Luminous Embrace and
Infernal Power.
It goes into the Ingredient Bag from level 30, is picked up automatically and cannot be sold.
⚠️ The Ore and the boss ingredients of a recipe always have the same rarity. Extraordinary Ore with Extraordinary ingredients, Legendary with Legendary.
⚠️ Cloaks and banners require
Yarn instead of Ore, with the same rarities.
Best method#
- Choose the rarity: the one from the highest difficulty where you clear maps back to back without dying.
- Play on that difficulty doing your usual activities (bosses, quests, chests): champions and bosses drop Ore along the way.
- Click the deposits you come across with a Multitool, rather than doing runs just for them.
- Prefer a fast map over a slow map on a higher difficulty, as long as the rarity is the same.
💡 Remember. No need to aim for Legendary right away: a Magic or Extraordinary item does the job very well until you craft it again.
