Ore — Rarities and farming

What Ore is for, which difficulty gives which rarity, and where to farm it without spending your evenings on it.

Deposits and tools#

  1. Have a Multitool in the inventory.
  2. Click the Ore deposit (icon on the dungeon map): it uses up 1 tool and releases 3 to 5 Ore.
  3. The tool becomes a Broken Multitool: 5 broken tools make 1 new one at the Workbench (recipe given by the quest "A New Discovery").

Tools cost 500 Andermant from the crafting merchants in each region, or 50 Community Coins from Jesse O'Barker. Bonus codes also give some.

💡 Remember. The Jewel of the Ingredient Hunter adds 1 to 5 units to each batch of ingredients depending on its rarity: on batches of 3 to 5, it doubles or triples the gains.

⚠️ Keep some tools for events (Halloween, autumn runes…): they are in high demand there.

The spots cited by the community:

MapBenefit
StonekeepThe classic: usually 2 deposits per map, often combined with the Bloodchests on Bloodshed
Hogni's MineSmall map, frequent deposits
GrayshadeBloodchests too
Maze of Blaze, Telepolos (right side)Good yield
Foxarrific Burrow, Spiky Valley, Hagastove GrottoCited by several players
  • Legendary without the jewel: chain maps and quests on Bloodshed, and click every deposit you come across.
  • Magic or Extraordinary: play on Infernal or Merciless, where champions and bosses drop it naturally.

⚠️ Azar's Pit has had no deposits since the July 2025 update.
